Hair Transplant is a surgical procedure performed with local anesthesia. HT is a permanent hair surgical procedure in which the patient’s hair is taken from the back of the head and transplanted where necessary (eg. scalp, eyebrows, beard and mustache).

All hair transplantation techniques work on the same basic principle and method. At the first, healthy, bald-resistive follicles are harvested from the back or sides of the head (called the donor site). After that, very small micro-incisions are made in the thinning areas where more hair is desired (called the recipient site). The harvested follicles (called grafts) are carefully embedded into the incisions. Generally, more than 95% of the transplanted hair follicles will take root, acting as a permanent and completely natural replacement for lost hair.
